Bells have always played a role in the celebration of life. Many believe that bells have spiritual value. Church bells are meant to ward off evil and are a call to worship. In the Far East, bells have been used to wake the Gods. I believe that bells cleanse the environment. Using bells in the Garden clears the energy and invites harmony. Creating a Soundgarden is a way of adding dimension to the outdoor experience. I see them as a way of hearing the presence of Spirit. They cleanse and speak for the Earth, letting us know the ever present energy that celebrates the forever. They are the sound of NOW.

The Bellisimos / Garden bells are an extension of the RE project. I have been making them for years and giving them as house warming gifts. These bells are made from the bottom of the bottle. The bottle is carefully drilled. The ringer is a wooden ball and the paddles are made from various materials. What I have discovered is that the lighter in weight the paddle is,
the more the bell rings. The heavier paddles need more wind to get the bell to ring.

There is a variety of styles and paddles to choose from. Each is hand-cut, polished and signed by me. I use them as a door bell of sorts.
